My Little Assistant!

So a big part of having a successful business on etsy is being able to take eye-catching photographs. I think my photos aren’t half bad but there is always room for improvement! My little marley is always trying to assist me and I think he’s trying to give me some photography tips - or he could just be angry that my sole focus was the baskets and not him at this moment! LOL

I don’t know buddy - I don’t think ur modeling skills will help me sell those baskets but you are really cute :)

Dino Ski Cap!

This hat is my first ever ski hat! It was made as practice for a mohawk ski cap I am making!

For some reason the purple part of the hat photographed very dark… here’s the actual color of it:

I’ll have to figure why my camera’s doing that… It’s really annoying!

Blueberry Hexagon Shawl

I recently made this shawl for my very best friend who’s off to Antigua for medical school! I wanted to send her off with something homemade and snuggly!

All I did was crochet a bunch of hexagons and a few half hexagons and I sewed them together! :)

6 Sided Granny Hexagon Pattern

Round 1: CH 3, 2 DC, *CH 2, 3 DC, from *5 times. CH 1, SC in Beg CH.

Round 2: CH 3, 2 DC, *CH 1,3 DC, CH 2, 3 DC in corner CH 2: from *5 times. CH 1, 3 DC in BEG corner, CH 1, SC in Beg CH.

Round 3: CH 3, 2 DC, *CH 1, 3 DC in next CH 1 SP, CH 1, 3 DC, CH 2, 3 DC in corner; from *5 times. CH 1, 3 DC in BEG corner, CH 1, SC in Beg CH.

*This is the original pattern, I had to alter it slightly because I used such bulky yarn!
